Hi, I’m Lynda Furash

I provide freelance legal services to busy solo practitioners and law firms.

My passions are estate administration, probate and related tax matters. Each situation presents unique legal questions and family dynamics. Since estate administration is often detail-intensive and time-consuming, I can be an invaluable resource for busy attorneys who don’t have time to delve into layers of complexity. I will give your matter the attention it deserves: unwinding the complicated, customizing communications to your client, and preparing meticulous legal work for the Probate & Family Court, the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, IRS, and financial institutions.

As a freelancer supporting small law firms since 2015, I truly enjoy building one-on-one relationships with attorneys – helping you unravel complex situations, determining what needs to be done, and devising the most family-friendly and tax-efficient strategy. My strengths are in identifying a roadmap with a sequence of steps and then executing those steps using clear, client-friendly communications.

Before starting Furash Law in 2015, I worked at an elder law firm where I helped clients achieve their estate planning and funding goals while handling the firm’s estate administration and probate matters. My responsibilities included preparing gift, estate and fiduciary income tax returns and deeds along with related real estate funding documents.

With 30 years of experience in the legal profession and an LL.M. in Taxation, I have the knowledge to get the job done and the commitment to get the job done right. I bring both compassion and integrity to my work with clients. My knack for adapting to each attorney’s unique working style ensures smooth transitions and stress-free working relationships.
